Metri Nui would be a terrible place to live. Every villain of the week tries to mind control or enslave you, the police/soldiers are essentially just random people given superpowers, even the wildlife can fuck you up.
METRU NUI was literally a police state with a mask on (again literally) fascist leading the people to be indoctrinated unwittingly, i am half convinced greg had some political implications in his work :lenin-heisenberg:
