Hello everyone,

A few people had a conversation in !fedigrow@lemm.ee about finding a new place to host a !dataisbeautiful community (see the thread here: https://mander.xyz/post/13861536)

We were thinking about mander.xyz as the theme of data seems to fit with the topics of the instance.

Would you be okay with us opening that community here?

        Thanks! Let's see if they see this :) You don't happen to have a Matrix, XMPP, IRC, or any other chat channel for the instance, would you?

          Not yet. :) We just chillin in our simple little instance. You'll probably want to make sure to trigger the indexing manually on the big servers once the community is created. Our federation syncing a bit squirrley right now. I messaged Sal yesterday but he's probably busy. It'll get sorted I'm sure. 😅 He's good about that.
