Reminds me of when Carlin told Bill Murray that ridiculing Bush was a dumb person's idea of a smart joke (or something like that).

This really makes him look like a chud :cringe:

It's obvious that a good comic would be able to make fun of anyone and have it be funny, he's just coming up with excuses as to why Trump is off limits, and he somehow does it without ever saying a single bad thing about him. The only time he gets close to accidentally saying something bad about Trump, he backtracks immediately ("Sort of a self-deluded-I don't know if it's self-delusion though..."). And then he caps it off with his only joke against Trump, which isn't actually about Trump, it's a joke about how much Americans hate Trump, and it also rolls in how much Americans hate Hillary. I didn't think so before seeing this but I think he legitimately liked Trump :deeper-sadness:

Yeah he's known to be fairly conservative, which I took to mean he's neutral on Trump at "best".

I did think it was hilarious when he was talking about how he "went to the rally for no particular reason, just to observe" or whatever. Definitely a shame, but to me it's not exactly a surprise.
