        We basically discovered a bunch of bugs that the main Lemmy devs had no idea about, because of our much larger amount of users.

            I don't think it's been that massive yet. And their devs just do dumb shit tbh. I love them but why the FUCK does Lemmy just do an infinite spinner when the backend runs into any error? It returns no error message and just sits there.

      You can set it to view "local only", then the only difference is a bunch of liberals coming in here to get dunked on

        i meant more like the loss of the hexbear web interface that i've gotten used to.

        mainline lemmy looks and feels different, though it is objectively better in terms of performance (especially on low-end devices) and usability
