    It happened today in r/onguardforthee in the thread where a mod asked if they should open up, re-blackout, or migrate to Lemmy.

    Lemmy may not be the answer…

    Since the operator and developer of lemmy has very problematic politics (defending genocide and homophobia for example), and is demonstrably incredibly hostile to non-authoritarians, giving him permanent access to your data (even if you delete your account) is a very bad idea.

    (head mod, OP) Gross, probably would not feel comfortable moving there if this is true.

    Any idea how kbin compares?

    Kbin seems fine from what I’ve seen so far.

      I know it's the Fediverse and we can all connect to each other and blah blah blah

      But I really hate that kbin exists. Would rather people just join and improve Lemmy, even if on liberal instances
