Good video! Although I'm like 99.99% sure Bean being a woodpecker is somehow a mistranslation issue. Funnily enough another character in that game, Fang, is also common mistaken for other animals. In the comics he was introduced as Nack the Weasel, despite him being a Jerboa. There is also a persistent rumor that he is half Jerboa, half Wolf, but this isn't true either, he's just a Jerboa
Sonic The Fighters is one of the minigames in the arcade in Lost Judgement. You can even play local multiplayer from the menu.
As someone who doesn't care at all about fighting games, I found it pretty fun, although the AI was easily exploitable.
Shame Yu Suzuki left Sega and took Shenmue with him otherwise we could have had Shenmue 3 with Sonic The Fighters in it.
