Should I watch it ? Is it "good" ? I heard some super high praise from some people -better than Frieren they said (which im sceptical of) Please no spoilerinos :3

Go slam through the comic. It'll take you like a week at most because it's good and hard to put down.
Haven't seen the anime - got too much random old stuff I want to watch instead.
