Military officials say a 14-year-old girl reported missing from her San Diego home was found in the barracks at Camp Pendleton Marine Corps base last month, and a Marine was detained briefly for questioning.
I say this as ex army: marines are the fucking stupidest branch. The most brain washed, brain worm branch in the armed forces and possibly the world.
Routinely on excercises they would have a colossal fuck up and we would watch an entire company or battalion have to get punished. We would point and laugh our asses off at them. One time their (company? First? Idk American terms) Sergeant Major complained about us to our Sergeant Major about it, and ours said maybe if your troops weren't so fucking dumb, my troops wouldn't laugh at them. It almost started a fight but cooler heads prevailed (the air force guys were also laughing, and encouraged all parties to chill)

I've read that the insult "crayon eater" originated from the Marines. I see why now.
