    I remember a factory I worked at wouldn't give you the 30 minute break. They got around it by making you sign a paper saying you were okay with that, otherwise they would just fire you. I was working there for months before I even got to a point where they made me sign that.

      A lot of places are like this and can get you to sign anything. What you gonna do? Not have a job?

      Places I've worked at do it for a crumb of payrise. One was like a 5k a year payrise and in return being on call 24/7 unpaid.
