          one of the main characters is a NY police chief and they had the audacity to include BLM shit in there. They're the modern day SS, that should be seen as a serious mark against the film regardless of historical context

          but besides that is any film split into multiple parts an advertisement for another film lmao

          if you fail to provide a complete narrative within in your movie, yes. You can watch the first Star Wars film and get a full movie. Just because other films also fuck this up doesn't mean its acceptable

            empire strikes back ends on a cliffhanger with han solo frozen, and its events don't get resolved until the next movie

            is empire strikes back an advertisement for return of the jedi
