    I figure that this guy probably did that, but I can't help but think of something Citations Needed pointed out recently: That mainstream media outlets emphasize individual exceptions to US immigration policy in a way that gives both Americans and refugees the false impression that in spite of the cruel policies, the reality is usually one of mercy.

    This helps direct the refugees we've created elsewhere to the US, fueling its absurd "border crisis" narrative. It helps liberals soothe themselves whenever their empathy flares up, and it enrages immigration hawks bigots in a way that helps drive even more cruel and genocidal immigration policy.
