I am as leftist as they come, butt honestly to be honest any logical human can see that Bill Gates is one of the good ones and that his contributions to charity and Effective Altruism have been a net positive and have objectively contributed more to progress than anything an internet tankie could ever imagine. I'm sorry, but the adults in the room have spoken.

as an educated African American (not one the the ghetto ones) I recognized that my life is better now under American capitalism rather than being naked in a hut. god bless human innovation and christianity.

As a white person, let me appologize for my ancestors kidnapping your ancestors and forcing you to live in a country with gay people

I've seen exactly that take in the comments (before comments were turned off) of multiple links to Gil Scott-Heron's "Whitey On The Moon," only with more rage. frothingfash

The my-hero cult came out in droves, didn't even deny the poverty and injustice talked about in the poem, but instead said that it was "the necessary cost of progress."

cracker can't imagine a system of progress that doesn't stomp over ungrateful us-foreign-policy somewhere for profit.
