Seems like some follow-up work is in order. I've seen at least one person not see the point (that it's on Lemmy). They failed their knowledge check (arcana, or history? IDK)! Maybe someone can lend them some bardic inspiration?

I'd already been subscribed here from kbin.social but that post got me to make an account on this server and prioritize switching here.

This is exactly what led me here, gonna have to bookmark this on my PC too. since I stopped using Chrome on PC, my bookmarks don't transfer as easily.

Also, love the art style, and the goblin girl is a lot like one of my wife's OCs in her innocence

I'm still on reddit aswell as feddi but I unsubscribed from DNDmemes over there. Eventually as I find suitable (and active) replacements for all my usual reddit haunts I figure I'll just naturally stop going there entirely.

That post is still pinned, and the newest post is 5 hours old. The next newest is 22 hours old. It's almost eerily quiet over there right now.

There's a good reason for this - which the "mods die" post does somewhat outline.

As part of the mass purge of NSFW posts and changing the policy, the sub was set to "manual approval" of all posts, meaning for any new post to appear there, a mod has to manually tick that it's okay to let it through.

And they banned three of the most active mods at the same time.

When I posted that image, it was held in a queue for about 30 minutes, and then suddenly 30 posts appeared all at once, (presumably a mod logged in and cleared out the queue) - then nothing for half a day.
