a ban on no knock raids would have significant material effect on peoples not getting murdered in their fucking sleep by the police state.

is it as good as a ban on police? no. but a ban on no knock raids is literally the whole reason leftists participate in electoralism at all; the implementation of good and effective measures to help save peoples lives by putting a check on the systems power, while simultaneously working to dismantle that system entire.

a black woman just got hauled in by the police state for daring to propose that state not be allowed to lynch her on a whim, and youre over there grumbling that she wasnt doing a hard enough praxis.

Have you ever met a cop before? You think it’d be hard to lie about that?

the point isnt to stop cops lyin.

they falsified the warrant used to murder breonna taylor. the legislation isnt about making falsified warrants illegal

but imagine it were. imagine a black female legislator drafted a bill to make falsified warrants even more extra especially illegal than it already is and then the police nabbed her for it.

can you see how your response of "yeah but her legislation was stupid so idgaf about what happens to her" would be absurd?

you’re missing the point of what I’m saying in a pretty big way here, so it’s hard for me to say whether you’re arguing in good faith or not. I’ll restate what I said:

Banning no knock raids is stupid and useless because saying you knocked on a door in the middle of the night when everyone is asleep is an unfalsifable claim.

I’m not a legislator so I can’t speak to what kind of law should have received the title “breonnas law” but naming it after that is a mockery of her death

the legislation in question is fucking irrelevant you numpty motherfuck. the police state just seized a legislator for being a black woman that tried to lodge even a tepid complaint about the wanton murder of people by said police state.

            unsurprising? sure.

but your response to that is, and i quote "I don’t give two shits about what happens to this lady"

            fuck off lib.

p.s. thinking its a mockery to name legislation after a person who died to make that legislation seem possible only for the people that murdered said person to arrest the legislator that proposed it? lol what?
