The working title and trailer imply that Pence is heavily involved, and that Sacha Barron Cohen shows up at some kind of Pence event. this would have been big news, and the fact that no one knew about this beforehand means someone somehow tried to cover it up.

Pence is a hateful, oafish dullard— the perfect target for a SBC prank. The movie releases a week before election day, and i think that’s intentional. Pence does something humiliating in the film and it is going to make him and maybe the dang cheetoh look like misogynistic impious assholes

and evangelicals will make excuses for it and it will not affect polling whatsoever

      Yeah I agree showing them as bigoted does work, but I thinking embarrassing them still works. Make them a joke, laugh in their face. It makes people a bit embarrassed to admit to liking or siding with them. No one wants to side with a joke loser. Yeah so idk if Borat 2 will accomplish that but I think doing so is still possible

      I wouldn't say they've made any progress. They have always been bigoted assholes with little to no consequences. If anything, there are just more people who are 1) aware that they chuds are bigoted assholes and 2) aware that they have no real power to stop them from being bigoted assholes.
