Chomsky's arg, which is sensible imo, is that you're not going to be able to overthrow capitalism in the limited amount of time we need to prevent cataclysm and that it's strategically better to have Biden as an enemy for the left than Trump where shit is even more fucked. The class struggle continues after the election obviously, whatever the results.
