I mean I can do the same. The treatment of Copts and Assyrians are as you say, less then stellar. I do remember something the Ottomans doing, something to do with the genocide of Armenians and Greeks, occupation of the Balkans, etc. If we want to do sins of the past, we saw what bringing up past grievances achieves via the Yugoslav wars.
