Like, is any of this shit real? It's so surreal the contrast between this shit and, like, CNN or The Pod Johns.
But a good run down on the Hunter Biden story, only 1% I had heard before listening to this, if true, I suppose.
What's people's opinions on the host? They seem trustworthy and on the up and up, but like I said, its so surreal.
While there has been no evidence as of yet, I've been suspecting a major anti-china astroturfing campaign on Reddit and other social media. I haven't had any idea who was doing it until this episode because Steve Bannon + exiled Chinese billionaire + neocons makes it pretty clear
I said the same thing around a month or two before the CTH went down, it seems very heavily concentrated on reddit but who knows for sure. Reddit and xenophobia and racism go hand in hand but one thing is for sure, the HK protests got more traction than any protest ever I've ever seen not just on reddit but on the internet. Even my dumb gamer discord friends who are very apolitical were constantly talking about it. Then one day, it seemed like most of the same spaces spamming about HK just magically stopped. At least not even a fraction of what it was for months.
Now they are on a Uighur kick.
Next month they’ll switch to Taiwanese or Manchu victims or who knows what bullshit

Is this a bit?
Like of course there is anti China astroturfing on Reddit.
Spend 5 seconds on the sight and you'll see Chinese racist slurs, Reddit platinum given to any Zenz post and fuck China as the top post in many subs.
Well yeah but I mean an actual bot/shill campaign which has been very effective. Anti-China posts put up right before the east coast wakes up, top three comments always long anti-china screeds massively up voted because we only read like 1-3 threads, getting shut down if you point out this suspicious stuff. There's no documents though so it just remains a theory.
We agree that this is going on. Maybe the best point is that if it were a coordinated misinformation campaign by the US government, how would it look any different?
I certainly haven't ruled out US government involvement. It's just that I now know that a guy with a history of social media manipulation in favor of right wing causes, an exiled Chinese billionaire, and a council of neocons are coordinating against China and they seem like prime suspects for this sort of thing whereas the military or intelligence community sowing disinformation on Reddit on their own accord seemed slightly (and I mean very slightly) less plausible. Not to mention that it's all a rotating door and these people are always moving in and out of government whenever it's convenient.
Ah I see.
