Saying that Latino is a contrived and artificial ethnic category implies that there are non-contrived, non-artificial ethnic categories. It's also not a great look to revoke people's race memberships based on voting results.
Sort of true, sort of reductio ad absurdumm because then you look at black Puerto Ricans and realize that they each individual has different material interests. Then you look at individuals and realize that they are also full of contradiction.
