    Yeah that figures, I was never convince that never trumpers were a real thing seemed mostly like a grift to rehabilitate neocons into the #Resistance so they can start more imperialist wars in the biden administration cause orange man doesn't really believe their stories.

        I think it's more like "they don't really exist in any meaningful numbers." It's a few people with some cash to spend, and while over years or decades one can turn that into effective propaganda there's only three months until the election. They've done nothing so far, will likely continue to do achieve nothing, and will go right back to being neocon shitheels at the first opportunity.

    I remember seeing a post on r/neoliberal a few days ago saying something like "between the centrists, Lincoln Institute and sane Bernie Bros, we have a winning coalition!" and it made me wonder if neolibs are even real or if they're just a hallucination

      I think part of it is that they exist in the same beltway circles as the liberals. So it’s part a convenient excuse, and part libs genuinely wanting to get along with their friends.
