One responded with a Yes. meme to being questioned if indigenous people deserved to be culturally genocided.
Mods need to bring the hammer down hard, it needs to be done yesterday, and there needs to be an explanation for such a colossal fuckup.

It's also hard to do because we don't want folks with legitimate issues to feel like they have to do a bunch of homework to prove it. Striking the right balance is difficult. I'm just glad to see others thinking along these same lines.
On the whole, vegans have not been successful at promoting their beliefs. The vast majority of people on the planet are not vegan. You should be the first people to ask whether your current approach is the best one.
And of course this is all immaterial to the larger point: I don't care if that approach works. If it wrecks this leftist space, it needs to go. You can go do it somewhere else.

Oh, I'm not asking for additional evidence -- I'm just applauding the recognition that "abstract, vague and wide-sweeping claims" are bad. Pointing to something in particular and making a specific argument about it is how we should handle these sorts of issues. If that's the standard, wrecking (intentionally or unintentionally) becomes much harder, and issues raised in good faith can be discussed sooner and more productively.
Anyone know where a comrade can watch this for free?
On Snyder, I can't help but hear the "all these Marvel movies are the same" criticism when people rip on the guy. We want directors to try to do something new with oversaturated genres, so we shouldn't shit on them too much if they try something new and you don't like it (and plenty of people do like it).
I’m highly conscious of attempts by wreckers and trolls to sow division by making abstract, vague and wide-sweeping claims and letting the community eat itself alive, so I usually like to give solid examples and be as specific as possible
A fantastic point in a comment full of them.
You're right that people America is bombing and starving should take precedence over Americans getting free college, but absent a cataclysmic nuclear war, the only way to shut down the imperial machine is from the inside. That's going to require some form of mass political movement. I don't think it's possible to build one of those around dismantling empire (something that goes far beyond opposition to a particular war, or opposition to the scale of military spending).
I do think it's possible to build a mass movement around education and healthcare, and I think that movement can be a stepping stone to an anti-imperial movement.
Or how easy it is to really hurt someone.
Vegans are just wrecking at this point.
I’ve said that the Trump-is-a-Poopy-Head/Cheeto Mussolini genre of art that flourished in this time period is going to have the shelf life of Taco Bell leftovers. I don’t think a Beeple work like, say, Trump Dominating Covid from October 2020 is going to age that much more gracefully than Stephen Colbert’s “A Very Mueller Christmas” cartoon special or any one of Saturday Night Live’s many flaccid Resistance japes.

Anyone got a link on this one?
The delusion is in thinking that it would accomplish anything.

Keep your cum to yourself, comrade.
You cannot be a non-vegan anticapitalist.
This is just wrecking. Leftism is not veganism.
I started by listening in good faith. It'd be silly to keep at it in the face of so much obvious dishonesty.
It's from Citations Needed, a podcast with all sorts of excellent leftist media analysis. Highly recommend.
Removing downvotes has been a good change overall, but giving users maybe 10 downvotes a month might nip a lot of shit in the bud.
