autuer film was such a fucking mistake

abolish directors. a 'single vision' for a film is not something to applaud if that vision is bad.

    Anyone know where a comrade can watch this for free?

    On Snyder, I can't help but hear the "all these Marvel movies are the same" criticism when people rip on the guy. We want directors to try to do something new with oversaturated genres, so we shouldn't shit on them too much if they try something new and you don't like it (and plenty of people do like it).

      same-ness isn't necessarily bad, if the quality of that same is high (and marvel is generally decent quality) it's a strange gripe to have.

      and the take away from Marvel thinking 'it's for kids, my capekino should be for adults' is absurd, the best recent superhero films actually embraced the hammy and child-y nature of the genre and rock. <--Spiderman movies

        Does this cut actually rehabilitate that film? I can't imagine a director's cut that makes that movie not garbage tbh.

        EDIT: Nvm I confused this film with Suicide Squad, I'm high right now. That said I wasn't particularly impressed with Justice League either so the point still kinda stands.
