I need new shit for my spatify playlists
Drop some beats libs, even better if you made them yourself
Been listing to a lot of Ramshackle Glory and Days N' Days, folk punk in general is pretty good and lefty tbh
Never coming home is about heroin use and I'm going home is partially about how rehab changed him so...
It's a shame a lot of the bigger folk punk bands have broken up by now, I've kinda drifted into standard folk and bluegrass to replace it I guess.
i like king crimson the band, my favorites are "the court of the crimson king" and "21st Century Schizoid Man" really the 5 songs in the "In the Court of the Crimson King" are really good
I loved 21st century schizoid man, but then the rest of the album was a totally different vibe and it just put me off it.
Listening now, did not realize that they invented nu metal
One More Red Nightmare reminds me of Sleepytime Gorilla Museum and John Zorn this is dope
Yeah, they are good, also another 3 songs i like of them are "VROOOM", "level V" and "Dinosaur"
Postmadonna's self titled.
Atari Teenage Riot's The Future of War
Ruins' Tzombhorgha
also the new dorian electra album is really good
Dorian Electra is playing at an online music festival this friday. Details at a2b2.org
Show will be streamed on twitch, with a dance floor on a minecraft server. I "attended" their last festival too, it's pure 2020 covid induced zoomer madness but it's actually tons of fun.
I got bored one night a decided to see whatever show was at the local hardcore venue and stumbled into a Show Me The Body concert. It was fucking good. I don't love them recorded but it was one of the best live shows I've ever seen
same here kinda! i saw them at the daughters show and didn't know them. they were great!
Dicks- Kill From the Heart (gay commie texas punks)
Chrome- Alien Soundtracks ( sci-fi punk from SF)
Peter Ivers- Terminal Love (did the song in eraserhead. Twisted LA new wave)
Deux Filles- Silence and Wisdom (almost proto shoegaze, top notch)
Comrade Noname is a requirement as her music is dope AND she's for the people.
Seconded and smino and saba are two artists you also gotta check out if you like her music
You ever hear the Man of Steel soundtrack by Hans Zimmer?
That's it, that's all I listen to.
I've been listening to some early grime and some newer grime lately.
and Blisters in the Pit of My Heart by Martha. They have newer records but this one just goes all the way through.
