It should be pretty easy, even in Amerikkka, to find solidarity with others and oppose constant surveillance. It looks like the only force for good in this are the Teamsters. I feel like more people should be hearing about how unions can protect their privacy, to help undo years of anti-union propaganda.

I was compelled to post this after seeing the name of one of the largest providers of driver surveillance is named Samsara. I'm not sure what being a provider of soul-crushing worker surveillance has to do with the concept of a cycle of rebirth and death, but it makes me sick.

I'm going to start a fake company called Eucharist that puts driver-facing cameras in tractors, and lead farmers to believe that Monsanto is going to require them in all tractors that interact with its seeds™. Even the chud farm sons I've met agree that Monsanto is evil, my hope is to maybe get laws passed against this to help my fellow paranoid workers. Because what normal human wants to be on camera all day?!

If this issue becomes more widely known, libs will absolutely equivocate it with police body cams

It's a major criticism I have of the UPS wing that they've let invasive driver tracking slide, to the point this wouldn't be surprising. I hope they can find the will to oppose this.

When I worked for USPS they tried that shit, fortunately we had a really strong union that stomped the shit out of it. And by stomped the shit out of it I mean compromised by having us carry a gps tracker with us 100% of the time we were clocked in.
