Don't know about any black rocks but I know about the black hills.
It's land stolen from the Lakota peoples specifically because it's a literal goldmine.
Folks if anyone ever brags about having any kind of jewelery from the black hills, beat their ass, jack it, then hock it off for cash and donate it to the reservations.
