Black eyeliner is both pretty easy, and hard to look bad with. Just avoid putting any on the bottom of the eye - it's hard to make that look good, wouldn't advise it when first starting out. Go for it if you want to though, like, it's your face after all.

mostly eye makeup! im an overgrown emo kid so im really interested in getting better at eyeshadow and that area, full face makeup intimidates me but maybe we'll get there
Actors wear makeup for the stage and for the camera all the time, regardless of gender. Why shouldn't you, if you prefer?
