I did and want to thank you for writing this out. I knew before that Hampton had been killed by the pigs, but i didn't know how they murdered him and Comrade Clark. Now i do and now i will remember.

In Soviet Cuba, children are taught to read gommulist propaganda. My Vuvuzuelan granpappy (who owned every egg in Chyna) never learned how to read, and he was the most anti-gubmumulaist person I've ever not met (he was forced to not have an iPhone and died in a Vietnamese gulag holodomor before I was born), and I have sworn to carry on his legacy.

You need to respect that, Sir.

Learning about the black panthers was basically what radicalized me. I always wondered why people don’t organize against police in a militant fashion, and learning that I was wrong and people HAVE done that was basically the final tipping point in learning about Marxism/communism. The black panthers were an amazing force of good in America, rest in power Fred Hampton

Earlier this year at a protest, I met one of the survivors who was there that night. Beautiful person.

This is such a hard story to digest. What is especially chilling is the line "he'll make it". These agents knew what Hampton was made of, respected it in an adversarial sense, and their reaction to that strength was not to admire it but to kill it.

    Rest in Power, Fred.

Rest in Piss, every dead pig involved in COINTELPRO.
