All the ones I find are marginally better than just reading some randomly selected passage because any accompanying text us the most surface-level liberal interpration imaginable.

      Thank you, that's a good reading list, but I had more of a "daily dose of bible, communion with god" kind of soft literature in mind to start the day with.

        Hmm, have you heard the magnificast podcast? They discuss some good sounding books about the bible. Maybe that’s a good place to get some recommendations
