The 0 to 100 in 10 minutes is actually insane and I have no clue how they could possibly be doing that. Generally speaking, batteries can charge to like 50 percent in say 10 minutes, but then take an additional 2 hours to go to full, it's like trying to cram a sleeping back back into the package.
My guess is that Toyota is limiting their definition of empty to full to 20 to 80% of typical. This makes a lot of sense to do such if the cost and power density of the batteries are there.
