Writing is a rather vast tent. I have spent far too much energy dipping my toes in a myriad of different formats - from straightforward short stories and poetry to lyric essays and prose poetry. As a result, I've never honed my skill in any particular form leaving my writing to be disgustingly mediocre all around. How did you guys decide on what to write?

    I get feedback from my band, and my dog who i play my songs for.

    Actually my process is sort of about forcing spontaneity these days, or trying to. I set a timer, write for thirty minutes, then record a whole song based on the words, over an already written instrument track. It keeps me from obsessing over the thing, and I can actually finish stuff, which is good
