No question Netiwit's a fucking lib, but Land Destroyer is a fascist, pro-monarchy, pro-military mouthpiece. Seriously fuck them.

      Weird.

This was an excellent video on the Thai situation... I would have thought this person was a red of some stripe.

Pro military for whom as he seems anti US?

Pro Thai military. Look at his videos about the Thai monarchy. Fucking yuck.

The a few of the Thai (liberal) pro-democracy movements have sadly received some NED cash. Yes, we should be aware and critical of that. But coming from a reactionary like him, it's just fucking concern trolling. The guy has NOTHING to say about CIA propping up the kings, nor the close support of the pentagon for the Thai military.

He cleverly picks battles to appeal to people from outside that don't follow Thai politics.

Also, the main Thai pro-democracy group (not NED funded) went ML last month. It's fucking awesome.

It seems reactionary to group Thai protests in with Belarus, let alone HK. Reactionary as in a reaction of because US are backing them through various channels they just be bad. It’s funny because the US has no beef with the Thai government.

Honestly the US government is playing both sides. Either the fascists in the current government win, or the libs in groups they're supporting win, so the US comes out on top. Def Thai pro democracy protestors aren't all on the side of Netiwit. The Left, frankly, just tolerates him.

For sure. I just get frustrated that some folks on the left assume any protest or movement that the US is involved in is bad or reactionary. You seem quite familiar with the goings on there. Is the FFP essentially a bunch of libs and they capitalized on their dissolution and the protests sparked by them, or is there more to the story. I wouldn’t be surprised if bourgeoisie libs are trying to co-opt the more leftist aspects of the protests like here in the US.

Also, is comparing the current king to Hunter Biden a fair analogy? Lol

The FFP are basically just centrist libs. If the Trump branch of the Republican party decided to ban the Democrats, ya that would be bad, and this is basically what happened to FFP. The lib reaction to the army cracking down has always been weak. It's the Marxist (and the limited anarchist segments) that pushed to take over the streets.

I sorta feel like Hunter Biden is trying to get better, and his material conditions are not as fucked up as the king. A better analogy might be Caligula.

Oh I can't stress enough that the US government is funding groups around the pro-democracy movement, but not the main ones.
