        I refuse to believe someone would go through all this trouble just to do this. Not that it doesn't happen at all, but posting sooo much for months on end?

          Wasn't there an example in a video game in space about a guy that spent the years or so infiltrating a rival company just to steal everything? Don't underestimate the lengths people will go to.

            Yes but there were actual real stakes there, not just bothering an obscure website.

              Yeah dude made off with tens of thousands of dollars in assets. EVE Online (had? still has? I dunno) a ingame currency exchange rate via "pilots license extensions" which can be purchased with real money and sold for ingame currency to other players. So with EVE you can actually calculate a dollar amount of what was taken, and it was pretty damn big.
