the most annoying part of using lemmy instances is having login reset and all the blocked communities - usually shitty memes communities - appear back on my feed
Nowadays i mostly use app to browse lemmy, the webui is just too clunky for doomscrolling lol. Been using Liftoff and it's quite okay, with some jank of course.
i find there's a bug when going from local to all -> click on a thread -> going back to previous page and it returns to the local instead of all. seems like using an app is the best way to use lemmy instances for now.
Yeah, the webui has that problem and it doesn't seems to be on the fix list, that's why i just switch to app instead and use the webui for modding.
But if you're on pc, you can use the alternate webui too, alex.monyet.cc and old.monyet.cc
