I am so sick of Westerners acting like the teachers of democracy and civilization, handing out just punishment on their rowdy, uppity students who have done something naughty when they decide to rebel against them. it's the mentality behind the constant sanctions war; the belief that the West is so powerful, so inherently superior, that obviously we must be the paragons of justice that keep the order of the world in check. the idea that we might not be the god-ordained world policemen is so completely alien to those in government that it doesn't even occur to them as an alternative.
if the West is lucky, perhaps they will only receive a century of humiliation. they deserve far, far more. unlimited genocide on the first world.
i'm worried about the reprisals but it's not like sitting around and not uprising would do anything but distribute the same amount of terror over a longer period of time.

Yeah, I don't think the US should be "bombed to the stone age." If I had to choose between that and it being a thousand year Reich, pull the trigger, but otherwise I merely would prefer the government toppled, and if the Capitol is vaporized then tough shit, but the whole DC area? Only a sadist would say that when there are huge (in large part poor, poc) residential areas encompassed in that.
