As for the Intercept I'm deeply suspicious of them and wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being some kind of operation. There had to be a reason that this tech billionaire with ties to intelligence agreed to fund an outlet that was reporting on leaked NSA documents. Depending on what day you ask me I lean towards it being some kind of limited hangout.
