As is usually the case with anything in science, finding a positive correlation between two things is not the same thing as saying that one thing definitely 100% determines the other, and it would be a mistake to come to conclusions about any individual, including yourself, based on your digit ratio (e.g. if you already know what your gender and sexual orientation are, knowing your digit ratio shouldn't make you doubt yourself.)
In a sane world, discovering a correlation like this would just be a neat bit of trivia, like how being red-haired is supposedly correlated with needing more anesthesia, instead of being used to try to justify... whatever point this guy is trying to make.
The fun thing with correlations is that they could work either way. So if I flip the expected causation then just stretch out my index or ring finger I can be fem or masc. Sweeeeet
