the title isn't even divisive or combative either. it's literally just asking a straightforward question. why are so many breadtube youtubers white? how fragile do you have to be for that to offend you
My thinking is that it's probably not offense as much as them trying to nudge people away from digging into Breatube's composition and finding out it's like 90% upper class white people who all know each other and cross-promote.
I don’t think it’s necessarily that conscious, but rather that lot of white people live in perpetual fear of being on the receiving end of what their ancestors did to people of color
From my experience growing up around chuds, there’s a lot of focus on “reverse racism” and fears of race riots, etc
Any mention of “white” by a person of color immediately causes fear
how fragile do you have to be for that to offend you
Some white people lose their shit spectacularly and immediately if you say certain things about racial issues. I don't even attack people or judge people, it's enough to say something like, "white people shouldn't say the n-word when quoting rap" and they go nuclear. One guy got so mad he responded with "we shouldn't coddle black people like that, saying words won't magically hurt them". Like holy shit dude, you're the sensitive one who wants to be coddled. All I said was you shouldn't use slurs.
