So up for auction are two 4510R+E catalyst switches with 8 WS-X4748-RJ45V-E 48 port line cards each, and I really want it, but I have no clue what I would even do with the thing. Should I get this and what could I even do with it?

Yeah I get the noise thing, but it's not too much of an issue for me. I've got a CCNA, and I will absolutely use the managed features. My hesitation for passing it up though is that it's about $75 so not at all a bad deal. At the very least I'll part it out because the blades sell for some decent cash on ebay.
