    I agree. His vlogs have very much expressed this sentiment as well and I find myself being able to laugh at the ridiculousness of current politics while also envisioning what is neccessary to shape the future change to something more just.

      history doesn't really support the idea that "nothing can ever be changed", and people are very focused on the schadenfreude of politics, relishing in the other team's pain, instead of realizing that they're going to have to start inflicting it upwards

      there was a bunch more too it but it's less about the precise point he made and more about how well he phrased it imo. put a bit of a smile on my face
