So I've been reading up on hydroponics lately because I want infinite strawberries, and I'm just about ready to order the stuff for my first setup, just a small DWC system. My adhd also had me reading about fogponics in the meantime. The idea seems to be that suspending the roots in a fine, thick fog instead of water helps avoid root rot and drowning, as well as allowing more CO2 to reach the roots for faster uptake.

So is it bullshit or nah? I'd love to be able to grow without the noise of a pump, and it turns out I could easily turn the DWC bath into a fogponics tub just by switching the air pump with a fogger.
