some college nerd who files for grants is not really necessary for the bourgeoisie to continue accumulating capital. They have no leverage for collective bargaining by withholding their labor power. Actually its best if they don't do their jobs to get disabled people healthcare or whatever
Isn't your conclusion backwards? If they have no collective bargaining power shouldn't we hope they keep working instead of withholding labor?
