    One thing about the CGTN propaganda is that it is very rural focused. Props for dealing with extreme poverty in these regions sure but it's achieved with the wealth created in these cities that we hear little of.

    It's not as based as cultural elevation but in the west men's sheds have had to be founded voluntarily to deal with the isolation later in life created by toxic masculinity and capitalist alienation by working together on DIY projects. They are amongst the few positive developments in mental health and brings them back into the real world and not the fascistic mass delusion created by the tabloid press and social media. People based development must apply to all.
