LLMs in general have a context window length. While the platform likely appends some meta/summary in it. The AI at most only remembers what he said a few hundred lines ago.

  • Been playing Rimworld for the last week too. Yeah, given how rediculous the pricing is and how easy it is to pirate DLCs, I'm also rocking the base game + pirated DLC combo.

(For those who don't know, download a pirated copy of the latest version, copy over the DLCs in the data folder, edit out the line with SteamID in each of the DLC's about.xml)

Thoughts on the new DLC? I'm not too interested in the theme so I haven't bothered to pirate it yet. Watched a playthrough, seems like something you either commit a run into it or not touch it at all. It's like a story DLC instead of a gameplay mechanics focused one.

  • Just lost my job. Though I think it's a blessing in disguise. Last few months at work feels like I'm slowly killing myself. Going to take a month of rest or two, work on those personal game projects I never had time to complete, do some art, go out and meet some old friends. Saved up enough cash so I'm not too worried about the immediate future, but finding another job will suuuuuck.

  • Worth mentioning that the title is somewhat click baity. BYD is expected to overtake Tesla this quarter, but hasn't happened yet.

Will happen sooner or later though, imagine still selling the same old models after all these years, while pouring all your resources at:

    • An experimental pickup truck that nobody appears to like
    • A convertible sports car that will surely do well in this economy (Might be 400IQ play though, when it's out in 10 years, perhaps the demand for such a thing is up again)
    • A semi truck. Where weight and endurance is the key and the exact things battery powered cars are terrible at.

Also brands selling everyday cars is almost guaranteed to out sell a more "premium" brand(well, I suppose the only thing premium about a Tesla is the price tag, but that's how they position themselves). Just compare Toyota and BMW. Surprised it didn't happen sooner.
