  • Yup, I make a conscious effort to look after myself more now since I burned out from work a while back. I cycle to and from work, journal regularly (I started with Mind Journal and follow that format), walk my dog (and having a dog in general is great for self care). I make time to spend with friends and try to be present in the moment and enjoy the little things. I also make sure I go home on time from work, take my holidays and don't take on more than I can manage.

  • I had a job in a local Co-op where I was bullied by the managers. That wasn't great.

I also had a job in quality assurance where to give you an example one of the tasks was to look at like 10k gloves front and back to check they were intact. We were not allowed to have the radio on or listen to music etc you can imagine the sort of people who were in that job long term, the conversation was not thrilling. I only did that job for a few months and I'd have been suicidal if I had to do it for much longer.

  • I've looked at a couple. I think you need a game system which catches your attention if your not particularly creative. They generally give you good prompts and have plenty of generators/ oracle's to guide you.

Check out Ironsworn. I believe it's free and it's generally very well regarded. I've not played it myself yet but I've read most of the book and it seems very well put together.
