I do want to say that user level instance blocking is in the works: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/pull/3869
Struggle informs theory, and theory in turn counsels action. That's why those at the summits of power do everything that can to ridicule and condemn and censor these ideas
I do want to say that user level instance blocking is in the works: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/pull/3869
But lemmy.blahaj.zone has not blocked hexbear.net I just went into the lemmy.blahaj.zone/instances and hexbear is still linked.
Where do you see this?
We are now federated <3
Will you also commit to blocking burggit(dot)moe and other loli-adjacent spaces?
My DMs on Matrix, here, or even Hexbear itself are always open. We wanted to add this instance as solidarity between trans mod teams on the lemmy-verse is very important to us. The Hexbear mod team is over 50% trans and the Hexbear user base trends heavily in that direction as well, as such any concerns you have I would appretiate discussing before action is taken. Thank you
hexbear.net is a large unfederated lemmy fork (on lemmy 0.18) with a custom feature that displays pronouns inline with user names and over half the moderation/admin team are LGBTQ+ the site is left-unity and activly removes any homophobic, transphobic, or racist comments/posts.
There is nothing in the sidebar of the community nor did the original poster imply or specify they wanted only lemmy.blahaj.zone local users to participate. If you notice in the Admin Update - Hexbear post and the Hexbear Discussion Round 2 posts the amount of hexbear users was much lower, in fact a hexbear user was banned for participating in meta threads.
The Federated Code of Conduct post supercedes the previous comment I made, I apologize I should have edited my comment to say "I am formally requesting hexbear user to cease commenting in this meta post."
