  • You have to understand that Microsoft will drop Windows 10 support (security updates) in a couple of years and then you'll be forced to update to 11, if you plan on sticking to Windows. Switching to Linux is really easy nowadays, since there's a number of really popular distros like Manjaro, Ubuntu and Mint that are intended for casual users. They come with all the basic software (Firefox, Libre Office, media players etc) and drivers preinstalled and you don't even really ever need to learn how to use the dreaded terminal if you don't want to.

also whats with Americans liking a South Korean movie/show with anti-capitalism undertones and that highlights the RoK gov failures and completly missing the point?

Because Americans are completely incapable of understanding any sort of subtext, no matter how blatant it is. It's one of the things that amazes me the most about them. It seems like something similar to being functionally illiterate.

How the fuck do you even stan for South Vietnam? You know, the permanently collapsing military dictatorship where every general was trying to find a way to coup the general currently in power (if they weren't already in the process of being covertly couped by the US due to incompetence) and where the army was in charge of everything, yet wasn't able to win even while being actively propped up by the US.

I have a setup that can comfortably run AAA titles from the last couple of years. At the same time I apparently don't meet hardware requirements for upgrading to Windows 11. Now I know why.

    From Wikipedia:

The swastika was officially taken into use after an order by Commander-in-Chief C. G. E. Mannerheim on 18 March 1918. The Finnish Air Force changed its aircraft insignia, which resembled the unrelated swastika of the Third Reich, after 1944, due to an Allied Control Commission decree prohibiting Fascist organizations. It nevertheless continues to feature in some unit emblems, unit flags and decorations, including on uniforms. In 2020 the BBC reported that the Finnish Air Force had "quietly stopped" using the symbol in the emblem of the Air Force Command.

    :yikes:

but we did find it funny

And herein kinda lies the problem. The community didn't find it funny. Literally every single comment made by @COMM_ORGANISER_BOT was heavily downvoted, except for that one time when Enver's alt tried arguing with it. That's a clear indication that the community thought it was stupid and unfunny and I presume many people reported the user. I think your role as mods should be to respect the wishes of the majority of the community and the rules of Chapo Chat (akhm, spam), not indulge yourselves.

Edit: eh it seems I'm out of touch with the Chapo community, if this was supposed to be funny or something. Seems like 9gag or r/memes level of "funny" to me. Time to move on to greener pastures for me, I guess.
