wait you think people dislike goblin slayer BECAUSE it shows sexual violence as bad? you think the people who dislike goblin slayer are sitting around going "oh if only there were more wacky sexual harassment i might like this show"?

the problem with goblin slayer is that it shows the sexual violence in a way where it clearly expects the audience to be jacking off and there is no amount of arcs where characters process trauma that will undo that. your standard anime shittiness simply does not compare

it's fantastic, it's so nice seeing adult women spending pleasant time together in a grounded way

you'll notice i didn't include dragon ball on the list of anime that didn't have sex pest stuff or fascism! and again, there's a big difference between dragon ball and goblin slayer

you're basically saying "all 80s movies love sexual assault, so it's fine that i like revenge of the nerds," and when i respond with a list of 80s movies that don't have any sexual assault or harrassment in them you say "well have you seen how han treats leia in star wars?" those are two very different things! both are bad, but they are at very different levels of it

re: hormones. anecdotally i know a bunch of trans women whose dicks still work. they still get hard, they still orgasm, and they still produce cum. similarly, i know trans women who didn't lose any muscle while on e. you'd need to work out a bunch and it takes effort, but it's very possible

ultimately it is your choice, but neither of those two factors are as insurmountable as you seem to think

here's some great anime that neither enjoy sexual violence nor fascism. there's plenty more out there, sex pest stuff is hardly "every classic anime". some of these may have some in it but they certainly aren't enjoying it

pyramid inu mostly does classic mecha anime (especially tomino's gundam) but has room in their heart for other things, including some live action stuff

i have not played omori but i'm GUESSING based on vibes that it's like a 1 or a 2? extremely not scary scary, there's one scene that's imo mildly scary but other than that there's basically nothing i would describe as scary in the way a scary movie is scary

it's a horror movie in that it's about horrifying situations, but it isn't really scary at any point beyond an existential dread. mostly just deeply sad and distressing but never in a way that has any adrenaline involved. it's fantastic, instantly an all time fave

misread this as daicon instead of daitarn and was like "yeah no shit, she has a lightsaber duel with darth vader and yoda does rakugo. that's what daicon is, ready player one for the 80s otaku compressed into 4 minutes so you get all the fun leo point moments and cool animation but none of the bullshit"

these two basically INVENTED the yaoi doujin scene, the people simply love toxic situationships. and the sequels live up to that legacy, char's counterattack especially

when they get to it you should watch episode 3, which is char doing toxic schoolboy yaoi with garma for an hour (in addition to revealing that yas thinks the way he killed garma was char's super move). it's very fun, the rest of it is pretty whatever

say what you will about yas, but the man can draw a comic!
