a spider on the web, listening to the vibrations that ripple through the strings, waiting patiently to feed.
Idk, I got a care package in the mail with a cake inside, seems like they can both deliver food lol. 🤷
Also the cake is delicious, and yeah fuck the gig economy.
It's kinda like comparing universal healthcare to individual payer for-profit insurance. One rewards everyone as a universal system with consistency (at least in theory) and the other rewards only rich people.
Yuuup, because to pretty much everyone on top, it's not sadistic, it's business as usual. They don't typically experience the crushing despair of the poor.
This system is working as intended and must be transformed so dramatically as to be nearly unrecognizable or fall altogether.
Kinda depends on whether you see gods as human or not... I don't believe in god's that aren't flawed beings just like us.
Thanks for the article OP, but it's got a clickbatey headline, it doesn't actually answer what took so long (or investigate why they made the change in the first place.)
So thaaaat's why I like clicking pens as a fidget but don't love it when others do it in my proximity.
Sucks that that happens to you, but good for you for resisting his possessiveness! Hope you can find some better friends!
He does look like a Derek lol
Are you kidding, you think a bear wouldn't help out a fellow bear? I'm sure the trap was removed soon after.
That's so brave. 🥹
Leftists make the best lovers, don'cha know?
Heed the content warnings in the video, this video is a difficult watch, but it's really good. Thought Slime: Can I learn to love my body?
And you can't just say no, it's a systemic problem that could be solved with walkable cities, better public transportation, stretching breaks at work, eliminating or greatly reducing subsidies for corn and processed foods, and other stuff. We have to consider every step food takes from its source to the shelves, and all the reasons citizens aren't able to be more active or afford foods that could better support an active life.
All things that are certainly achievable if we all take responsibility for community health instead of wailing on individuals.
Honestly, I think higher ed is more at risk because the people on the top keep skimming for more funds, leaving everyone below struggling. Pay your faculty, staff, and working students (grads and undergrads) well.
As a person who enjoys literally licking leather boots, I was taught to just use a small lather of gentle leather conditioner and a bit of water. You can polish them too, and that you'll wanna be careful with polish, find something that is edible and non-toxic. Boot blacking and leather care is a whole thing, and it's super hot if you're into that.
I got "back in my day'd" by my lead at work who makes at minimum 2 grand more than me, but with the pay scale, he should be making significantly more, and we're both part of a union that's been fighting for a better pay scale for new employees for a while because it's no longer sustainable.
We're supposed to be on the same team, wtf, you're licking the wrong boots.
I just use
30°C is hot, 20°C is nice 10°C is cold, 0°C is ice.
Obviously that won't apply everywhere, but in milder climates it works pretty good.
I fixed it
