I did weekend jail for MTR probation for being sixty dollars behind on fees.

Six months of weekends, or 90 days in the hoosegow. Had to be there Friday by 545pm, released sundays 3pm.

Strip searched every weekend. ‘Squat, lift yr sack and cough’. Spent weekends changing oil on cop cars, mowing city parks, and picking garbage up off the beach. All in jail stripes. I saw friends, people I went to school with, former coworkers, etc all while being followed by a fat man with a scattergun on a Mule and told to pick up trash faster or I could just stay for the week instead of being sent home Sundays.

Aside from holding on to them because they remind me of something, I don’t play them beyond turning the systems on to make sure there’s no burst electrolytic capacitors. The games mostly suck ass. Anyone who says that they’re some great call back to blah blah blah is smoking something fun.

Coffee or frijol, it’s still beans to me

The big chain grocery store in my geographic area (HEB) puts out all sorts of limited edition flavors. Turkey and dressing, fried egg, loaded nachos, loaded baked potato (the last two probably aren’t hard to do) and a whole heap of other shit like pumpkin pie flavored chips… On occasion I’ll pick up a bag for my kids to try and be grossed out on. Some of the flavors are eerily similar, and others are just gross. I’m a plain potato chip kind of guy so I’ll have a chip or two just to try them but mostly the bag just sits til it goes stale then I chuck em.

These are the western values we are fighting for.
