For context, we're playing an elder scrolls RPG in my tabletop group. We've been meeting the various leaders of cyrodiil. They were handing out cute quests like "hey, can you grab some authentic akaviri swords folded over a million times then dropped in a hole in the ground for me?" and "pls help, I think my goober son is getting into a mischief."
The count of skingrad just straight up officially sanctioned a murder in the streets of a vigilant of stendarr.
you know, weirdly enough, my last death also included a grenade and a bike. I was retreating from a few beefed up zombies on the way back to the base, and whimsically decided to leave them a parting gift. I turned 180 on my scrapbike, upped the acceleration to get out of the splash zone, activated a grenade, and threw. I uh, didn't throw the right grenade though...
I yearn for human connection but i cant stand the thought of being known and understood
an actual goblin. like, with the rusty scimitar, three copper coins, and leather armor. The full ensemble.
funny enough, the tbfp subreddit is what actually got me onto lemmy. There was a tiny sbfp community that popped up around the blackout protest, but it faded pretty quick.
I was on the Pathfinder.social instance for a little bit until that died off too, and then hopped over to a tiny art instance called crystals.rest, and now onto the warframe instance. This one's surprisingly resilient for how niche it is!
Castle Super Beast is what I put on for grinding in video games. Woolie Madden & Patrick Boivin from SBFP made their own podcast after dissolving the channel, and it's now been going on for about as long as their old podcast. It's about a bunch of nerd bullshit like video games, but with a slight veneer of a focus on industry news.
oh, I thought this was going to be a warframe post.
fuck yeah little armadillo, do your thing
better call the HSH for tips on the most fearsome cryptid of all - Bees.
I've been messing around with it for a minute. It's dull and repetitive, honestly. And kind of obnoxious without a magic regen mod. All quests have timers, you see, and it takes about 8 hours of resting after each fight to heal to full and recover MP. The dungeons are way bigger than they need to be, and each and every one is a randomly generated labyrinth filled to bursting with monsters. You're playing find-the-needle-in-the-haystack and can probably afford to get into 10 fights before you fail the quest you're on.
All of the stuff i like best in daggerfall is iterated upon in later titles to be better - especially spell creation. I hear the story is interesting later on, though.
Gros michel not looking so gros any more.
potato salad is fucked up. How could you possibly take eggs and potatoes and think pickles is what you need to tie it all together?
Cute~
also, like, yeah all the time. One day I'll be able to bust out my lumberjack wizard who just runs a protector tree + shape wood + shrink item factory, but alas I am for now relegated to my hedge hogman breaker's quest for the 7 forbidden dances.

Check out the Unreality of Pro Wrestling, its a video by some guy online who'se really fascinated by the fine line between the fiction of wrestling and the reality of it. Like, yeah, they're selling, but there's also real stakes for the wrestlers too. When the storylines and the wrestler's motives align just right, it's basically real for just a little while, even if its fake.

No, no, let her cook. Giving up on alignment altogether is a good move
Animate dead + purify food and drink. Pull off a spare rib whenever and wherever you need it.
